The alcohol is the strength of of the beers is measured by ABV alcohol by volume.

It is not really math. These are measured by using a like a candy therm. It just measure on a scale the amounts of alcohol. And another device measures the units of bitterness.

A candy thermometer, that is also used for making hard candy and fudge also.

Not really the same but it is the same in theory. One measures the heat while another measures the alcohol.

How come you brew your own beer if you don't mind me asking.

My friend and I began brewing our own beer because it was a thing to do. No real reason. We sometimes like the results other times it turns out bad. So we have brewed a certain types of beers that we have had success with. We feel sometimes that our beers are indeed better tasting than what we can buy in the stores. It is a little cheaper to make.

Alot of the beers in the stores aren't all that good, I haven't tried all of them, don't plan to, I like Kahlua and cream on occasion, that stuff is good.

Indeed dear lady. Yes we do like to drink or own beer. Others to like it. We can not sell it unless we get a license to make a larger volume. |
