Yes, I saw from some commercial growers do mix of horse manure and straw. I am living in rental a room. I cannot think to the manure here. I was thinking to the cardbords because its for recycling. I dont know if there have heavy metal in it, like lead, mercury, cadnium... Thanks Panchovilla Richard

The mushrooms can grow on recycle cellulose. They do stock the heavy metal in their pods. Do someone know if the mushrooms growing with recycle cardbords, paper will contain something toxic for feeding human? Richard
