I'm not addicted to my computer ... but if you saw me sitting here most
of the day, you'd think I was. :)

I run five different blogs, and am awakening a sixth ... I have several
writing projects to work on as well. Then, if I'm not blogging or
writing, I'm gaming (I have to, it's what 2 of the blogs are based on!)
...

Now, once I've gotten my gaming fix and all my writing assignments are
done, I get out of the house. If I can truly be said to be addicted to
anything, it's museums. :D

Baltimore, Maryland. I don't recommend it.

Being Hindu, I not only believe we come back, but that we do have a
choice as to who we'd want to be (the choice is made for spiritual
reasons, not intellectual ones).

But, if I had to make an intellectual choice ... someone with more
common sense earlier in life would be nice. ;)

That's it. I'm going to start haunting Russian dating sites, type in
stilted Russian and look for a rich woman to move me to Moscow.

You like nice American men, yes? You like I should play on computer for
you? Iz zat vat you vant, darlink? ;)

Yeah, it came down to a moral conflict between Rorschach and Dr.
Manhattan - which is never a good thing to get into with someone who has
more powers than you do. :*)

OMG, it's Beppo. Now, there's a character who really deserved a bit role
in the Bizarro storyline! :D

Nope, I had this one pegged for Russian from the start. I happened to
have worked with a couple of Russian girls over the past year, and their
written English was stilted just the same way as this lady's. Either
she's Russian, or a very good fake.

Yeah, I enjoyed the Watchmen series a lot back in the day. Dr. Manhattan
was my favorite of them though ... I always felt bad for the guy, he
gave a rare look into what it would really be like to have super-powers
thrust upon someone.

I'd check your mother's heritage, jeanc ... I think you have more than
1/6th working for ya there, if you don't mind me saying. :)

If you get robbed at the airport though, I'm only sending a sixth of the
money. :*)

LOL they'd be in for a shock. I must be the only American without a cell
phone.

Guess you'll have to email me from the airport, sweetie! :)

OK, you got me with the lead suit.

But this is a poor choice of superheroes to be staging a fight.

As for Batman preparing ... well, let me remind some of you that the
vast majority of superheroes prepared before engaging worthy foes. Only
the ones in Saturday morning cartoons didn't ... save Batman, and those
were poor cartoons. :)

Batman is ten times the superhero of Spiderman and Superman anyway ...
he's human. No super powers at all. That puts him several rungs above
the folks who got lucky in the super-power lottery. Superman and
Spiderman got to be superheroes by sheer luck. Batman earned the title.

Now, should we choose our own superheroes to come up against Supes? I'd
put my money on a little known character named Dr. Manhattan. C'mon
comic book fans, you know I'm right. :)

I got a message through the site the other nite from a young lady in
Mississippi with the nickname XLady. Very pretty foregin girl in her
late 20's. Seemed very nice, wanted to chat. Gave me her email address.

Sure, I sent a little note (c'mon, I'm 48 years old ... I just HAVE to
know what a 28 year old woman sees in this old goat). Today, however, is
when things really got interesting.

The email I got back - and boy, it was a long one - informed me she
lived in Russia. Russia? That's a long way from Mississippi!

I did a reverse trace on the email, and sure enough, it passed through
Amsterdam before it got to me - whether or not it started in Russia I
hadn't a clue, but at least I knew she was nowhere in the states when
she wrote it.

Of course, the profile here on JustSayHi had completely disappeared.
Odd, don't you think?

I replied and told her everything I had just told you folks, adding that
I hoped she found her way to America ... by some other means.

Beware, the mail-order brides are trying to ship themselves!

Meanwhile, I'll go back to what I was doing before I thought I had a
cute pen-pal ... wishing I had a cute pen-pal. :(

... and that code didn't work very well, did it? Can we have an 'edit'
function on these boards, please?

Since I'm Hindu, death is strictly temporary. I suppose my tombstone
could read:

Here Lies [real name].
AFK ... BRB.

Batman, definitely Batman. However, Batman would need some time to
prepare for the fight.

Batman has several advantages the other guys don't.

He is the epitome of human physical perfection (i.e., one heck of an
athlete), and a master of many martial arts and fighting styles. He is
no one to get on the bad side of.

Second, he has a superior mind. Batman is an inventor and technological
innovator, creating everything from the Batcave to all the nifty gadgets
in his utility belt in secrecy to protect his identity.

Third, Batman (Bruce Wayne) has almost unlimited financial resources. If
he needs something to make something, he can get the cash to pay for it.

So, coming up with a suit made of a Kryptonite base alloy that allowed
him to withstand Superman's heat vision and ice breath, that would also
be impervious to Spidey's webs and allow Batman to stand up to the web
slinger's physical strength, is completely doable for the Dark Knight.
Given a few weeks to prepare, Batman would wipe the floor with both of
these guys.

Of course, there's another advantage in fighting Superman. Supes
wouldn't fight dirty. :)

Just logged on ... created a profile ... and lo, actually found the
profile of a person I'd want to contact. So, I sent a nice email.

Wow, that's never happened before. :) Let's hope it all works out, eh?
