OK, I have a question here. For you people who believe in evolution
over creation...What do you think happens when you die? Just curious as
to whether you even believe in an after life. Do you think that your
"being" just rots away like some dead animal beside a road and that's
the end of it? Really curious as to your thoughts about this.

Redy, are you saying that you do not believe in the Bible? I know some
people don't and that is their choice.

You stated:
"I don't think we need a book to know in our hearts and minds what
'right living' involves."

This sounds to me like you don't believe in the Bible. Personally, I do
believe in it although I know that some people translate it's meaning
different ways. Hence where all the denominations have came from. I do
believe that we were created by God and I think that His book is
supposed to be our guidelines for living while on His earth. Some
people think they just die and come back as someone or something else.
Some people think that they came from monkeys. Some people think that
when you die someone just buries you and you get eat up by earth worms
and that's the end of it.
I prefer to believe that God has prepared a place for us when we leave
this earth. And without that book you have nothing to go on except what
other people convey to you as to what is right or wrong. JMO

Asking for forgiveness is one thing and though you can be forgiven, the
bible also states that if a man marries a woman who has been put
away...in essence they are committing adultery. So if you divorce
someone other than for the reason of adultery and remarry, you are
committing adultery and causing your new mate to do so as well.
Same scenerio about forgiveness applies here:
If you go out and steal a new car and ask for forgiveness for stealing
it you can be forgiven...but do you think you can keep the car and still
expect forgiveness?

I bought the book he advertised on TV. Was a BIG ripoff. He offers
nothing in the book that he advertises. You have to join the website
for some outlandish price to get ANY of the "home remedies" that he
"advertised" that were supposed to be in his book. I think the guy
should be locked up for false advertising in my opinion.

If you show interest in a woman, and she reciprocates that interest, is
that a turnoff for you? Would you rather she act as though she isn't
interested?

That is nothing less than playing games with someone's emotions. And I
don't think that too many people like game players. In fact I see that
very thing in 90% of the profiles....NO GAME PLAYERS. If someone acts
as though they aren't interested in me...then that's where it stands.

Jesus said where two or more are gathered I am in the midst. You don't
even need a third person, let alone a priest. In the early days after
Christ people met in there houses. Although the bible says not to
forsake the assembly, I don't believe you have to be in a church to take
communion. My dad was a Church of Christ preacher up until he died last
year. When my mom was bedridden with cancer 4 years ago my dad gave her
communion ever Sunday.
So no, I don't think there is a thing wrong with what you are doing.

Some of these so called churches just make the rules up as they go to
cater to their own lifestyles. I wouldn't call them churches, but
rather a gathering of sinners that pass the collection plate to further
finance their acts. There is only one church...the one Christ
established and you can bet He doesn't condone fornication no matter how
liberal this world gets.

Ebay is a good thing if you just use common sense and learn to watch for
the signs of scammers. For instance, if you see a nice camcorder or
something that seems too good to be true, look at the category it's
listed in...it will be listed somewhere toward the top of the page. A
scam will usually be listed in a bogus category. For instance, I've
seen nice cameras listed very cheap but would be listed under figurines,
dolls, etc. and are usually listed as a short duration auction of 1-3
days.

I'm new on this site but have posted in the forums on other sites and
this subject seems to always come up in the forums. Someone mentioned a
few pages back that getting to know the inner person first is better,
then it's just an added bonus when you finally see their pic. The
problem with that is the fact that you might very well get to know the
inner person and become somewhat attracted to them through conversation
only to find that there is no physical attraction what so ever. If a
person is on a site only to make friends that's fine. But if you're on
a dating site to possibly find someone special...well, everyone knows
that physical attraction is important. So when you get to know someone,
find them interesting and attractive through words but then there's no
interest physically, someone always gets their feelings hurt. JMO.
