I have Vonage. Been about 4 months now. It's nice and all.

Question:
(I'm too lazy to look this up myself)

calls anywhere in the USA are free correct?

What about USA to Canada?
Thanks!

Cool...nice images.

I've tried the program out before but went with Vue instead.
http://www.e-onsoftware.com/

They're both good really.

3ds max has a steep learning curve....been using it since version 5(about 8 years now?).....the good thing is that nowadays there are so many sites out there with free video tutorials to help you learn.
(not too many want to sit thru and read 6,000 pages in pdf files)

I will eventually make the switch to Linux...it's inevitable...it's the next logical step.

I am really into 3ds max, Photoshop and After Effects...any Photoshop users out there?

This is nothing new but thought I'd pass it along.
Novice Photoshop users can do this with ease and it's pretty cool.
You can take any photo and make it look miniature:

If you're interested in what computers can REALLY do check out the artwork on these forums here:

Most of these were done using a 3D app. like Maya or 3ds max etc.

I've seen this happen. Clever virus's 'know' all the popular anti-virus programs and block them from being installed on your PC so that the virus has full control.

And use Avast free edition<<<<it IS the best.
Try using a friends PC and download that way (if avast won't download)...and burn it disk or better, put it on a portable USB and transfer it onto yours that way.

Like Thomas said, Avast checks (when you first install it) your PC at boot time...this is a VERY effective way of stopping junk on your PC.

Spybot Search and Destroy is good too.

I HIGHLY recommend Winpatrol too.
It runs in the background and catches things trying to install junk.

But all you NEED is Avast.

If all else fails, you may need to reformat your drive...gotta have your Windows install disk etc etc.
(even then sometimes that doesn't get rid of the virus either)

Is there a way to block users before an email gets sent?

Keep getting ones from people with fake pics of themselves.

Having worked in just about every department at a bank, I could answer those questions, but you'd get pissy with me for taking the time.

Am a bank employee too. And just like you, i know he'd get cranked up if i ever explain. Best option is for him to get employed as a bank staff and understand the pressure we face.

lol!

I usually just use the ATM...much faster and it don't have to run my i.d. every single time ....even though I've banked there for 20 some years. As far as the rope maze goes...I like running through it every which way and back and pretending to be lost in it
--------------------------------------------

I forgot about that!
When I deposit my paycheck (same bank-same tellers-several years)and want to take some cash out from it, I HAVE to show ID.

Now how f'ng stupid is that?

I don't know, figure it will be pretty damn smart when someone else trys to empty your account.

Understood...BUT they are same tellers for years...they know me.

and believe it or not...gotta run to the bank right now.

and no direct deposit....company I work for sux.

this is really a rant:

What's the problem with banks and their employees?
Why is it faster for me to withdraw money from an ATM than it is when I am inside?
These people count/handle money all day!
Why are they so slow at it?
You'd think with just the sheer volume and repetition of it, that they'd be super fast.

And I never walk thru that rope serpentine thingy...always hurdle it.

And why is it that there's like 10 employees behind the counter but only like one window open?

uggghhh!!!!

Don't even get me started with people who slow down/hit their brakes going thru a tunnel!

p.s.
And the Pens won!
Super Bowl---Stanley Cup----...and .....well...the Pirates...yea right!

p.p.s.
I feel a little better thank you.
