(Sammi Davis, Jr. voice): Ouch, Babe, Man....easy easy.
There was Much talent...i NOTICED your Waterloo Sunset Homage.
I will go so far as to say Ray was the authority on sonnets of the english classes....witness: Well-respected Man, Dedicated Follower..of Fashion?, et al. Also...later GEM....VICTORIA.

As far as that stuff goes dont EVEN get me started on Brits because i think The Zombies are one of the most undersestimated groups of that era.

Classic Groups:
Beatles
Stones
Who
Kinks
Animals
DC5
Yardbirds
Hollies
Zombies

Meh groups:
Gerry and pacemakers
Searchers
Freddie and the Dreamers???WTF?

Yesssssssss! Twin lead from George AND John...and what an ornate lick
for lack of a better word. I remember My Brother, Myself and a friend camping in the Hot summer sun of 2002 on the Au Sable River in Michigan...getting, lightly "toasted".....and turning both those guys onto Revolver.

But Heck....i remember Beggars Banquet was another marquis CD we listened to that weekend.

Jeez...the Talent from that era....Brian Wilson, The Beatles, Jagger-Richards....and JONES......Dylan.......IT
WAS
A
RENNAISSANCE.

It will Never happen again.

True that. One of the most creative years in music...the turning point(not that it has to do with In MY Room, 1963)but
1966........

im 44 and i grew up in my 20s, re-educating myself in the finer arts of 60s music...but man...1966....the turning point.

Yet my favorite Beatles ong hails from late 1965 i believe...could be 1966
Nowhere man. Man...the lilting Bass, the harmonies, The Beatles were no longer pop idols...they were thinkers.
