Nice guys (including myself) tend to try the friendship route to a woman's heart. This usually makes us stuck in the friends zone because we were not clear with our motives. Women tend to go for the confidently, cocky, player because they are clear with their motives and are confident. I have been told for years that eventually nice guys win, but I'll admit that I am tempted to try to the jackass approach since I have now been single for 3 years.
