In reality......distance is a hard thing.
We like to think Love overcomes all.....but deep inside we can be reluctant to approace someone due to distance and circumstances. For me, I returned to Il recently from Pa. my life in Pa was over, and I made a commitment to return to the family home after 25 yrs away to help my brother with my aging and ailing parents. This leaves no room for relocation again for some time. Life dictates what length we are willing to go for "the right one". having had "the wrong one" I'm not too sure I would go that far again just on hope. Hey..... but thats just me....
