I was born in the city moved to the country when I was 10, been back and forth a few times. I can do the all the country things ( camping,fishing etc.) and I enjoy them but I honestly prefer the city.

The other day I posted that I missed being able to slam a phone down on Plastic's "Things that no longer exist that you miss" thread. It just occurred to me that soon there will be people who don't know what slamming a phone down means. Now that makes me feel old.

I've been going to a site called garageband.com music from all genres and free downloads, they even ask you to write reviews. A lot of bands you've never heard of from around the globe and some you'll thankfully never hear of again.

I carry a small black notebook and pencil wherever I go, and I scribble furiously on it when a beautiful thought or line for a poem suddenly pops in my head. (Scared an old lady once on a subway when I suddenly jumped on my seat, squealed excitedly, then wrote on my notebook.)  Thats cool |
