It's interesting to me, I'm raised in a area where race played an issue., truth is I've always been attracted to a smile, it was never important the color of one's skin.... My ex wife and I have 3 beautiful children, n I remember a time when someone said I didn't know your wife is black..... And I replied OMG thank you for telling me...... I would never have known! I never gave thought to it she was my wife and my first true love

Interracial dating is one of the most important factors in making people understand how alike we all are. I've never let race prevent me from being with beautiful people. My children are bi racial and they are my greatest blessings

perhaps, part of what makes a cliche so popular is the naive idealism implied

two of my favorites are

'it can't get any worse'

'all that matters is love/all you need is love'



what are some cliches that struck you as the most illogical/unrealistic?




"You don't know what you have, until it's gone"
Does this even make sense... I've known what I had and appreciated it, it's being gone just reminds me how much I made it a point to appreciate it
