Being romantic to me...is the simple little gestures, that come from the heart...to show how much you mean to each other. Whether it be a note, a card, or a surprise call..just to let them know you're thinking of them. Being close, and gazing into each others' eyes, without saying a word...can say SO MUCH!!
Lying cuddled up on a blanket...under a star filled sky...or holding each other close,gazing at a full moon. Surprising them by cooking their favorite food for dinner, sharing a slow dance without any music...a relaxing massage after a hard days' work...a bubble bath for TWO, surrounded my candles. Romance isn't about what you can give out of your pocket...but what you can give from your HEART!! A KISS, A TOUCH, A CARESS...or just a simple THOUGHT...to show you CARE!!

I agree with you Lakeman...about Tony Eury Jr! ALAS!!...another disappointing race for Jr!! But..he did what he had to do...and that was RACE HARD! It was just TOO MUCH of a longshot for him...getting into the chase...just wasn't meant to be...but...there's always NEXT YEAR!!

WELCOME BACK (((((TERRY))))) Once again, you have expressed your thoughts and feelings through you words...and they are SO VERY TRUE!! While I DO have a LIFE, outside of HERE, it's been a wonderful experience, and an interesting one...being on here, and seeing how everyone else LIVES!! So many, I think, LIVE HERE, through loneliness,curiosity or to fulfill something they need...whether it be friends, a partner, lack of compassion...or just to have fun and share smiles...and they FIND it HERE!! It can be quite addicting...FOR SURE!! I myself...wouldn't trade my experience on HERE for anything...for I've met ONE "unique" friend, that I love dearly...and that's worth MORE to me...than ALL the acquaintances I could have ANYWHERE!!

I know it's gonna be an uphill battle...especially with Jr. starting 21st...but he's been racing strong lately (maybe a little too late)...but...he's not giving up...he still has the will...and desire to win...he just needs ONE LUCKY BREAK...and a whole lotta prayers!!

In response to Terry's question: I have made many online friendships....near and far...and I consider them "no less" a friend, than what I have in real life! I haven't developed many friendships on JSH...I'm still kinda feeling my way around here...but I have had the privilege of meeting a man, who's become a special part of my life! The only drawback I see, in having just "cyber" friends, and never having the opportunity of meeting them in person, or even after meeting them in real life...is....you believe in who, and what they say they are on here...and trust them to be your friend...only to be disillusioned and hurt, when you discover who they really are...hasn't been their TRUTH!! I know this has happened to someone very dear to me...and it hurts deeply to know they've been hurt in this way!!
