Manure Tea
 Organic farmer here, and a tip I got from a very good hungarian friend was for this "freebie" Gather the crap. Horse, sheep, chicken, yak, whatever and put it in a barrel(s). Let it catch rainwater. It will form a concentrate, almost like a tea, thus the name. When your ready to feed your plants, dilute it 3 parts water to one part tea. They'll grow like crazy and it costs no more than your labor. Best nutrients around can be found in "shat"  Good luck,,,,,now if I can just get my squash to grow bigger than a baseball

Natural is a key word. I did want to work with glass at one time in my life. Took lessons once on glass blowing. Did some crystal pulling.  Morning good .......Coffee grand. Hmmmmmmm,,,crystal pulling? I saw that technique in the school of design I attended last year. Swedish and Scandanavian masters. It was sweet. I blow mainly standard pieces, with a bit of a flare. I feel for your daughter. Know the "connection" she has for that cat. My Bear came to me the same way. Cat's are resilent, he'll find his way home,,, dunno if its available in your daughter's area, but here, you can take the cat/dog to the local humane society and get the "fix" cheap, or for no cost at all. Their attempt at cutting down the ferel population. Just a suggestion for WHEN her kitty returns Oh ya,,,ex's suck
