Topic: System locks up
You might have lots of programs running in the background. Press ctrl + r, enter "msconfig" (without the quotes), press Enter, then look at the Startup tab. Have a look online if you don't recognise it, and if it seems pointless, you can potentially turn it off. That should make your PC a bit faster, and hopefully get rid of whatever is causing freezes.
