There was so many fantastic songs that came out of the 70's and 80's. These songs spring to mind when thinking of my favourites.

Superstar - The Carpenters.
Golden Years - David Bowie.
Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush.
Is This Love - Bob Marley.
Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty.
Warm Ride - Graham Bonnet.
So Long - Fischer-Z.
I Ran - A Flock Of Seagulls.
Harden My Heart - Quarterflash.
Mexican Radio - Wall Of Voodoo.
Run To You - Bryan Adams.
Sunglasses At Night - Corey Hart.

The late Karen Carpenter to me has that voice that just gives you chills when you hear her sing, she was an incredible vocalist. It was as though she was singing to you personally.

Another great singer is Ann Wilson from the American band Heart, such a powerful voice, one of the great women of rock.

I also have to mention Kate Bush, her voice is very unique, her debut single Wuthering Heights was so different compared to what the other big artists and bands were releasing in 1978.
