11 yrs ago today my best friend gave birth to her first baby, Baby James. Unfortunately, 6 weeks later he passed away due to an undetected heart defect. :( I remember it all like it was yesterday. I've known my best friend for 15 years, so it was like I went through all of this with her. I just recently got in to geneaology and I find it fascinating. I can't go back very far though 'cause then people started changing their names, and stuff, and I don't know what their name was before they changed it. So, I'm kind of up a creek without a paddle. :(

Since it's October, does anybody have any good scary movie ideas? I've never had a movie scare me. I just watched the original "Carrie" that has Sissy Spacek and John Travolta in it and it didn't scare me. The only part that made me jump was at the very end where the hand comes out of the grave. I don't know why it made me jump though 'cause I expected it to.
