Because teams have enough distractions without adding politics and troublemakers and then they whine and want to sue for collusion when no team will touch them. Did Kapernick file his racial discrimination lawsuit yet? Maybe he ought to go play in Canada too if he doesn't like this country. I wonder what would happen if he dissed Canada by kneeling during their anthem? He wanted to stick it to whitey and it may have cost him his career, but he thinks he won a big victory by hating the USA.

Opiates have been the drug of choice for at least 170 years in this country so it is nothing new. You'd go to an "opium den" and smoke all you wanted! It was legal back then. They knew it was addictive. Lots of soldiers after the Civil War got the habit while in the military. How else were they to treat pain? (Morphine is an opiate isn't it?) The UK & China fought a WAR over opium in the 1840s! That's how popular it was. Most of these drugs were street legal until Teddy Roosevelt (REP) got to be President. The whole situation gets much better publicity these days and the abuse really has to be stopped.
