Glide your whispers
so softly, across indigo bruises
etched upon my soul
in a delicate journey
to find what is left of me

My flesh falls into weakness beneath
the warmth of your exploration
as your fingertips trace
poetry upon these hungry lips
Resurrecting a dormant craving
to taste the words that abandoned me
once upon another time
leaving me starving in the pause
of lifes unexpected silence

Lost in eyes that saw
beneath the scars
into the ivory crepe
of abandoned dreams
crumpled in the aftermath
of sapphire stains
where slaughtered wishes
fell upon garnet petals

The thorns beneath them
a stairway falling
just short of lavender promises
that lasted no longer
than the life span of roses
cut and placed in crystal vases
adorning a candle lit moment
that fades too soon
within the shadows
of an illusive eternity

How many prayers were
unleashed into clasped hands
clenched beneath a chin
bowed in reverence
Holding onto the last
flicker of faith
breathed upon a flame
clinging so fiercely
to the tip of a wick
moistened in the wax
of uncertainty

Flinching in exhalations of words
cast into this longing to find you
beyond these gossamer
curtains of yesterday
tangled in midnights breeze
curled in the corners of my dreams

The horizon of my heart is hushed
in tranquil premonitions of my ascension
from the wreckage of loves last mirage
Clinging to the edge of your ink
verses of me fall into
the quiet still of your hands
as you unravel my words
into your own

Staining the pages of my heart
in a delicate journey
to find all that was left of me
was you

Love glistens the rain of my swell
desires of swallow, drowning me
in a curl of waves as I mix thunder
and liquid lightning beneath
the percussion of your tender-braille
flaming untamed whispers
forever writing me, soaking soft
in beautiful surrender as I reach
for you in the glow of love's storm
while taking me slow, rendering
me spellbound, guiding us
into the passageway
of ageless deliverance
and everlasting warmth

nourishing the starve
of my ache to feed you
I give you my heart and soul
wrapped in kisses of succulent melt
loving the way I bury your purrs
in jasmine whimpers dipped in morning stir
from midnight tremors as we begin
again what started with just a look
in your eyes and a touch of my hands
Seasons dreamed beyond twilight's remnants,
diamond-strung trinkets of starlight piercing
through Brahms-orchestrated mists of sunrise psalms
as the cashmere song in your eyes, unravels
beneath opaline wings spanned against midnight's
velvet hush, lifting me into the hum
of trans-descent prayers wrapped around
yesterday's emerald-draped windows,
curtains of promises, touched briefly
in the afterglow of your breath,

gossamer-woven in their invisible
dance with sacred winds,
swaying from perennial realms,
unleashing their nocturnal colors,
once stilled within the verdict
of a cirrus-shrouded shell,
an iridescent rainstorm
of glass butterflies
beyond the cinnamon palette
of sunlight that seared the silk
of azure-kissed shadows, penetrates
the curve of fragile silhouettes,
stigmatic secrets disrobed
into kaleidoscope truths,
unraveling the ache, within
the poetry of my body
into the opium of needs,
flowing like driftwood fairytales
rewriting the cadence
of time's river, shaded
beneath wisteria canopies
of every untouched syllable
within us, released upon the shores
of your coral traced exhales

I tremble in the symphony
of these tongue-savored tides
unveiling the trail of satin petals,
unfurled in the thirst
of December's first kiss,
perpetually lost in the aftertaste
of every merlot-creased moment
still moist in the corners
of a breathless smile,
drenched in the fragrance of us
I feel the stars pour sighs so delicately
into each pearl of want bent-down plea's
change the melody of hunger
that spills into our ballad
staining chords slayed by fever,
burning wet saturating destiny's
arc of wishes in perfect harmony

A time when Winter bonded all junctures
blossoms failed to open in Spring ensemble
snow tumbled in Summer blizzards
and the Fall was barren
before the leaves fell
Now the stage is arranged
in pages we write, brushed
in tone's of our flesh
as we love beyond the realm
of understanding, truly unconditionally
and our love-light beacons me home
in the crimson of two hearts,
holding hands as one

Let the reign of moon-pillowed
longings, fall into feather-down
embers of need, eternal fires
blaze beneath the satin drizzle
of this crave you've etched
in pastel sonnets,
upon the surface of my soul
as I drown in the flicker
of night's sculptured
fingerprints, tracing
your name upon the tapestry
of crystalline-shimmered sandcastles
moistened in the flow of timeless ebbs,
breathing indigo-ink,
into the Autumn-tattooed
verses of my life,

rewritten in the opus of a love
scattered, like the ivory silk
of dandelions ribboned
in the cradled-passion
of every word predestined
to spill beyond the shimmer
of candlelit-laced translations
melting upon the wick
of enraptured confessions
born to scribe the beauty
of these fated-corridors
a refuge within you
in that place, I know
that is all and everything
I will ever need

Fallen

You crescent the light of me
in a coruscation of eyes
seeking a transcendent vision
beneath the surface of skin,
finding shelter in shadows,
beyond the burn, where
a taste of this truth
hovers beneath a raven's wings
dangling above the fault line
dividing darkness and incandescence
Fragments of ivory silhouettes
exploited in disguised revelations,
disimprisoned from intrinsic illusions,
once bound in chains to our
smoke blinded deceptions,
finding us one step closer
to a taste of heaven

Fallen,
I am in the curves
of your pause,
a fingerprint in time
dangling before
a moment of touch
Intoxicated in premonitions
of unspoken confessions,
tangled in words
born of ache,
fragile wings will lift them
upon the breath of your name
whispered in ethereal echoes
anchored to my faith
in those three words
tattooed in the ink of your song
played softly in the twilight
upon my final surrender

I would smolder upon a dying wick
for one last glimpse of your shadow
beyond my fading light, swallow
the ashes of stolen moments
for another taste
of your crescent light upon me
in breaths of repentant eyes
so hungry to fade into the grace
of untainted prayers
once soured upon my lips,
resurfaced from decadent currents
swirling in moon-speckled reflections
of yesterdays tears,
a lament resurrection
from a tomb of valediction
ascends upon diaphanous wings
into the eternal of your love
