Amy won't show you her true feelings due to the fact that her friend has already shown an interest in you. Now if you tell this girl who has shown an interest in your that you're really wanting to get to know Amy and not her - you might/will more then likely end up alienating them both... for a while, then if Amy really does like you she'll be back after the dust settles.
