Did some prostitute union protest the traditional "ho,ho,ho" this year and label it a derogatory comment? 'Cause I am not a "ho" and I know it, therefore would never be offended by Santa's moniker. The only ones it would be offensive to would be the actual "working ladies" and given the fact they call each other ho's, I don't see where it would matter. Are they gonna turn down Santa's $50 bucks if he gets the urge to look for love in all the wrong places this Xmas?

My point is, if you want a group targeting a certain age range, request one to be formed by Mike and Van. However to come onto a general forum, then state the thread is for a specific age group, it definitely could be seen as discriminatory and inflamatory. I think post your topic, but let all ages decide if it is something they care to partake of or not. If the thread isn't interesting to someone they'll move on, but if they want to post they should know they are welcome to do so.

This is MY OPINION ONLY, but, do you think posting threads for the 20-30's, 40-50's, 18-30's may segregate the site some? If not even be a bit discriminatory? Maybe a better solution would be to start forums for specific age groups, like we do for relationships, sex, current events, etc. To do it here in discussion just seems to alienate some and invite others. General is for everyone to post to everyone and for everyone to respectfully respond. Maybe there should be an 18-30 group, a 30-50, a 50+ group if we are going to continue saying "for the ********** group"?? We have older people who have been here longer than most of us and we need to respect and include them, as they have been very accepting of the younger crowds here.

Widower, I completey understand what you are saying....and it isn't a bad thing to have younger people here IF they have respect and maturity. I have run across some who can't discuss anything other than drugs and partying, sexual desperation, F-bombs, and slang....They bash the people who first came here and helped build JSH and they try to run us out. I dealt with a very intense crapload the other night. I don't think we should leave, rather I think it should be our goal to "tame the attitudes" and reset the boundaries. We need to take JSH back and restore it to it's former glory. I am doing this and hope you'll all join me.........

Knight, you have had a tough row to hoe, my friend. I know the idea of taking meds is unacceptable to some, but they can be the difference between life and death for others.....myself being one. I have severe depression / anxiety which I have fought since childhood. It took a while for a diagnosis and the correct combo. of meds before I found an effective remedy for my disorder. The meds have saved me. I still get down, but if I take my meds regularly I can keep my head above water. W/out them I am almost immobilized by the depression and hateful to be around due to the anxiety. If you have a chemical imbalance, it may take chemicals to equalize and balance you again.
