I have been a Windows user since Version 7. I currently run Windows 10.

Do I like the Windows operating system. Yes I do. I did look into possibly of using Linux. However, I do have some concerns about it.

My first concern would be hardware drivers and software compatibility. Here is an example of what I mean.

For the average computer user, I am thinking that Linux could be a great operating system for them. However, in my case, what if I want to add a performance WiFi Card? I did this with Windows 10 and encountered problems.

The drivers available for the Wifi Card were for Windows 7 and 8.1. I contacted the card manufacturer and they told me that I needed to return the card because they did not have a Windows 10 driver and they had no intention of releasing a driver for that version of Windows. I ended up getting a Windows 10 compatible driver and it works great. So my question is this.

Does the Linux operating system provide drivers that will work with new hardware technology? For example, wireless printers, graphics cards, hard drives and so on? With various hardware products, the vendor disk has a Windows driver and a Mac driver. But I have never seen a Linux driver included on any of the Vendor driver disks. I also use Adobe CC. It is a Windows and Mac based cloud set of applications. I do not recall seeing a Linux option for the cloud applications. Will Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 run on the Linux operating system.

I did read that there are thousands of Distros available for Linux. I run Microsoft Office 365 Business, will it work on Linux?

The other thing that would concern me about using Linux, is tech support for the operating system. I have received the best tech support from Microsoft for years, regardless of the product. It could be Xbox, Windows operating system, Skype, Surface operating system or MS Office. I can always talk with a tech free of charge. So does Linux offer this type of support or is it all by forums?

Just my input on Windows 10. Perhaps Linux out performs Windows in ways that I really do not need or use.

So, if you are a Linux user, can you tell me why it would be a better operating system than Windows 10?

Just thought this would be a great topic to debate.

The distance is all the way to the end...

Is there really an end? I took several Astronomy classes in college and I was under the impression that the Universe is infinite, in other words there is no end to it.

Well, at least there is no way to prove how big the Universe really is.

Think about it, does the Universe just stop somewhere? And if it does, what is beyond the end of it?

Just some food for thought.

More tests.....more needles....more scans......more doctors.....ohwell

Without more tests...more needles...more scans...more doctors...You won't get better.

Have faith and believe that things will turn out fine.

Good Luck....

If you define what you consider pleasure to be, I can reply with an honest answer.

More than likely, right off the bat, your ex is nothing like your current lover. They are probably different in all kinds of ways including making love.

So to compare them, is like comparing an apple with an orange. I love apples. I love oranges. I love both of those fruits, but just in different ways.

After eating apples for 18 years, oranges tasted pretty damn good for 19 years. Maybe it's time to start eating Mangos....laugh

There should be no comparisons but only enjoyment of who you are currently with.
