Hate..I feel to hate someone or something so intensely that want to cause maximum pain or damage to the object of hatred even if you get hurt in the process. The satisfaction of seeing someone you hate in pain is much greater than the pain you might have caused yourself in the process.

I think even if most people feel hate, they are rational enough not to act on it. The laws, the cost benefit analysis and long term thinking stops them from acting on it. People tend to take out their hatred on things as it is easier, convenient or reminds them of a person or experience. While not justified, it makes sense.

To dislike is easy and somewhat normal but to hate someone with passion...has to be a good reason for that.
