Being a soldier i know the stats. The unreal stat saying that 1 in 5 soldiers suffer from these is wrong. This is just another propaganda tool used my the media it stray from the good work that my battle buddies are doing over seas. THIS FACT IS A LIE. Dont get me wrong there are soliders that are effected by this but now the number that they are giving.

What Unit are you in?

You know better Fanta.........And hope he knows better than to post that info.

Why?
The units currently in Iraq are readily available!
They have made no attempt at hiding their insignia, and it makes a difference, whether you wish to admit it or not, if a soldier is in the Regular Army or NG! Whether they are Combat or support (rear echelon) troops. Their duties in no way are comparable.
NG and support Mos's cannot imagine in their widest dreams what life is like for a grunt from a line company in say the 3rd Infantry.

While true to all what you say, you don't post unit information out like that. If someone wants to make guesses, that is perfectly fine. But you (being a deployed solder) don't post it out. You were 11 Bush, you know this. (not talking down to you, just a gentle chide)

No, don't care if someone is reg Army, USAR or NG, they are all "Army" to me.

Because somethings are history. And they need to stay that way.
Yes, I have enough ghosts about, more than likely a body should, but they are mine, and mine to deal with.

Now - if it is something she needs to worry on, or be aware of, it is enough to tell her the why, and the what, but I don't feel the need to 'unload'

Make sense?

How would I ask a server out?

I have quite a bit of experience in this:

First I open a command shell. They take orders well.

Then type in ps -ef
If she has any odd processes running, it might be infected. Back off quickly.

df will tell me if she has enough space, and how much 'baggage' she might be carrying over all.

Next, just to be sure - top - get a list of the things consuming her brain and memory the most.
Make sure things are not getting overloaded in there.

If all goes well, and I still want to go out, issue
shutdown -h 0

Remove from rack, take home, get it turned on and see if you can get back to that command shell.

Oh...wait..damn..you are talking about a human...darn darn darn darn. Never mind.

Arguments against the Bill of Rights

See also: Federalist Papers.

A portrait of Alexander Hamilton by John Trumbull, 1792
A portrait of Alexander Hamilton by John Trumbull, 1792

The idea of adding a bill of rights to the Constitution was originally controversial. Alexander Hamilton, in Federalist No. 84, argued against a "Bill of Rights," asserting that ratification of the Constitution did not mean the American people were surrendering their rights, and therefore that protections were unnecessary: "Here, in strictness, the people surrender nothing, and as they retain every thing, they have no need of particular reservations." Critics pointed out that earlier political documents had protected specific rights, but Hamilton argued that the Constitution was inherently different:

kind of explains it right here

Yes it does. As the original proposal to ratify the Articles of the Bill of Rights to become amendments to the Constitution.
10 of 12 were agreed upon and became the first 10 **amendments**

Try rereading your own post:

Yes...Even Wikipedia agrees that the first ten **amendments**
are collectively known as the Bill of Rights, as that is how they were introduced. As a group. And then approved to become our first 10 amendments.

They are still **amendments** to the Constitution.
Hence the reason they say First Amendment, and so on. In the *proposal* for them to become amendments to the Constitution they were prsented at the "Bill of Rights" with each point being called an Article. (Only 10 of 12 were passed.)

because the first ten ammendments are the bill of RIGHTS

they are not just amendments

Yes...they are "just amendments"

Oh..and good job on correcting your own misspells.

UUmm...correction for you adj;

The Bill of Rights is the name given to the first 10 amendments, and they were ratified as a group. But they are amendments.

You may check Wikipedia or any other of a few dozen sources on the Internet for confirmation.

Don't know, but methinks it is time to seriously review the training and deployment cycles. You don't want an Army with a tradition of bailing on you.

Something is up there, and likely could be identified in the training cycle. Poor leadership, or not understanding what is needed. Don't know.

Geezzz...always told my troops (only half-jokingly) that if they retreated without my permission - *I* would shoot them. So you might as well stay and tough it out.

Ahhh...just an 'Internet Rule" Anyone of the opposite sex that you would *really really* be interested in, and talk to on a routine basis will be greater than a 2 hour drive.

Anyone in the local neighborhood won't give you time of day.

Ya know....just to throw a log on the fire - I just had a random thought:

The only amendment to the constitution made and then repealed was Prohibition.... does the fact that happened not mean the consitutional amendments are fallible, based on the times of society... and subject to updates to reflect those changes?

So why could not the 2nd Admendment be Amended?

There are three types of lies.

Lies
Damn Lies
Statistics

Have to go with Armyguy there - OP article is a bit much. There are quite a few getting home though, that need to 'decompress' and have no idea how to do that on their own. Even if you are support, there is quite a bit of stress in just uprooting your life, trashing your finances (in some cases) for a year. Then be expected to just change clothes and change mental states and go back to work (if your job still exists) just isn't terribly realistic for most.
