Since the moment I saw your face
and the beauty that you define
I have only loved you silently
but always dreamt that you were mine
You never knew this side of me
because I couldn't take such a chance
If wings of desire shall set you free

I have wanted to tell you,
but how could I chance such a loss
someone you know is in love with you
and afraid of what this could cost
Someone dreams of you in silence
and faces the dawn alone
watching every sunrise just waiting

I have watched the angels cry,
and my heart has drowned in their tears
The snow is falling on this glorious night

Breaking up was our resolution
but now I don't feel so resolved
because we're angry and confused
and jealous over the love we're now involved
We turn our backs on each other
each day a little more loves removed
and though I tell you how much I hate you
I love you

I could never get things right with you
You had a way of speaking your mind
No matter what damage was caused by the truth
I was looking for a lie
Something to keep our heads above water
but we were drowning more each day
I was looking for a love that would last forever
and you were missing those lonely days


How you could want to be alone,when it keeps me awake at night
and though the signs began to show through the fire in your eye
It was then i missed your sweet caress,and I just wanted that again
