Children grow up so fast.... i got a divorce when my daughters were 1 and 4. I had a job and my children. A man was not on my mind. At first I had several guys call, but i said no, thank you. I had my first date 18 years later...when they were out of highschool. i would not do it differently. We 3 had a great relationship and so many wonderful memories. my oldest died when she was 33 and the other daughter is 2 hours away. Do what feels right to YOU. Your daughter will all of a sudden be old enough that she wants a classmate to go with you to the zoo or park. Suddenly your visiting hours will be in the past. do what feels right to you now so you have those good memories. Everyone has the right to make the choice that suits them best. :)

mayB - thanks for your input. insect revolution - that says it all. in addition to the Murder Hornets, Desert locusts have swarmed into Kenya by the hundreds of millions ... of the locust outbreak, which now affects seven East African countries, they eat every crop in sight, including tree leaves and thatch on huts.

motown - it IS a HUGE worry. if these hornets continue to kill our honey bees. as they are now wiping out huge amounts of bee hives...we will have no pollinators. If we have no honey bees, things like broccoli, strawberries, cotton, cabbage, numerous foods will disappear. If you think this is not important, I assure you that you need to re-think it. without our honeybees, we will be product poor. We will never be able to revive the bee population.

If i liked the person, i would stay. if he puts off talking on the phone or meeting in person indefinitely, i would re-think it. My daughter has been very sick for six weeks. Doc thinks she had a corona false negative test and now has a secondary infection. So yes, I would stay and see how it plays out.

Activity partner does NOT involve sex. it's 2 people doing activities together, such as walking your dog(s) , washing and waxing a car, getting sandwiches and walking to the park to eat, playing board games, scrabble, monopoly -- or get really wild and play ping-pong or outdoor tennis. The list is endless. It doesn't have to be a long-time friend, it can be someone you meet online. But there are "rules" - no sex...just fun. Gives you the ability to relax, enjoy conversation, etc.

several cities in USA have stupid protesters, some with concealed carry -no masks, demanding their state be opened. Some threats have been made to police and politicians. Is it worth it to open FAST and possibly die? I live in Nebraska. we did not have total lock down, but close to it. My soninlaw saw doctor yesterday for injection, said doc was very upset about state re-opening too fast, as he predicts skyrocketing rates of infection/virus. Many are worried about states that are under control getting much more corona if opened up too fast. SLOW is the key....but then, no one has asked me !
