Hi,
Thanks for the thoughts. You're wiser beyond your years. And I do send a note if something's caught my interest, picture or not. I just don't when everything is no answer, makes me think she might be a monk sworn to silence. I just thought it was funny and read several profiles that women we're saying the same thing as what I wrote. Stay warm out there. Look like you probably won't be going to Cedar Pointe this weekend, eh? Brrrrr!

I'm giggling about the whole thing. I just thought it was funny to write it, and funny that there are "no instructions". How can there be? You're right there's a diverse mass of people and everyone is different. If it was rant, sorry it wasn't more light hearted. laugh happy

Hi
I signed on here beginning of Jan. Lots of people use these as a way to “maybe” meet someone, and that’s cool. Where’s the instructions?!?!! Some people want to make a bunch of new friends and chat but I’m looking to actually meet someone with same interests, mutual attraction, and possibly build a relationship verses hitting bars or hooking up with a friend of friend.

Here’s the Where’s the instructions part; Wha-ats the deal with people who put No Answer in all of the profile questions? How ya gonna know if you want to meet them if there’s nothing to go on? Get off the site and let someone else try! What about those who put cartoons up instead of pictures? What the?? Or how about the people who put up pictures from 5 years ago, pictures taken 300 yards away? How about the ones who put up pics with their ex’s? (I thought about it to show that I like attractive women and usually a bit younger than me, but then I thought that’s tacky and somewhat disrespectful to my ex). Not for trophy but also not to drag her into my search for someone new. Am I wrong? Maybe.

One girl wrote "interesting personality and looks are what spark the interest" and she’s right.
Not to be vane, but isn’t that pretty much how people used to meet and became attracted to each other before internet?

I check out mutual matches hopefully via picture first, then read their age, their profile (hopefully peaking my interest and make me laugh), their height and weight (don’t care about ethnicity or religious belief), where they live, and then kind of go from there. And no offense to any one at all because I’m certainly not perfect, but how do people say they’re average weight when their pictures clearly shows otherwise? Or worse, No Answer! At least people who say a few extra pounds are starting off honest. At least I haven’t seen anyone saying they own a yacht, and have ten master’s degrees and a ranch, to “bait” someone into sending them a message. I’m not against average builds or few extra pounds, not that shallow, and I know personality and heart goes along loooong way in a person. However if we’re supposed to write what we like and are attracted to, then why not fill in those blanks “honestly” and see where the pick up sticks land?

If a woman says “Looking for 6ft tall, or Never married, or a black guy only, or must be under/over a certain age”, I’m going to follow “HER rules of engagement”. If it’s within a year or two of criteria, then I might try because ya never know. How do you play this thing?!?! Not meant to slam or anything. Just asking..
