Biden didn’t need congress approval when he dismantled the border policies that were working to secure our border, why does he need it now, ( old argument) . Other country’s problem shouldn’t always become a burden to the U.S… Trump was trying to determine who was the parents and who were the traffickers. Yeah, that's how executive order work. The next President can continue or kill at will. But Trump really made zero effort to track the parents and children separated. He apparently tried to send a message intended to dissuade immigrants from coming. In many cases the immigrants never got the message, and in other cases, immigrants came and dropped-off their children. The rest just learned by example, I guess. There was little effort expended to track the parents deported and the children detained, when the previous policy was to just keep them together until their disposition was settled. In the Obama Administration, the "kids in cages" was for unaccompanied minors. It looks as if Biden and Harris have depleated funds from FEMA to house and feed the illegal immigrants, and now they don’t have the funds to meet the needs of hurricane victims through the rest of that season. With very little response from the federal government to the people ( my folks) in the NC mountains we can thank the volunteers of the surrounding communities and the victims themselves. It’s been over a week since these folks had everything they owned swept away in the worst flooding in that area ever..and Kamala has spoke to these people from somewhere other than the effected area of course for about 3 minutes to offer them a $750 check.. WTF.. I guess they aren’t that concerned because 85 % of those mountain folk vote Republican and 40,000 mail in votes already sent back are unaccounted for .

The only thing I’ve heard That could cause some disruption to our already damaged economy is with the possible dock workers strike. Who will unload the container ships.? the workers are asking for a 70% raise within 6 years. My frustration is that Biden being the best friend the union has( that’s his words), and him standing with strikers in picket lines , who is he gonna side with? No one ! He refuses to get involved as a mediator to possibly settle the dispute before it happens and keep the cap from blowing off with the economy right here at the start of the busiest shipping time of the year. . but he can try to mediate the war between Israel and Iran and it’s proxy’s by telling Israel to go easy on the people that want them dead.. and now he says no more $$$ for FEMA , really? They haven’t even got the report on the monetary damage , and I expect it will be unprecedented numbers of dollars..

Either way, the Congressional Republicans gave up on their political shenanigans until after the election and the Biden Administration got both sides back to negotiating and the workers back to work. Originally that was proportidly the idea, be a corporation to start, so they could produce commercial paper for income, then transition to a common law pure trust, so the constitution would be solid, enforcing common law ,and abiding by the limitations of USG rights that the constitution specifies. That's not how it works. The US Government is not a corporation, so there's nothing to unincorporate. For income, they get revenue from taxes, tariffs and administrative fees. Not sure what you mean by "commercial paper." It's not money, because that costs the government money, but it's a necessity of commerce. |

Let me guess, your next excuse for her/them is something along the lines of "the border has always been an issue, long before Kamala". The 2 presidencies (Trump/Pence, Biden/Harris) could not have been more different on the border as Trumps numbers CLEARLY show compared to the current. She failed, and failed miserably. Why not just admit it and own it? I can admit that Trump says some awful things yet the Dems will never admit any failure ("Bidenomics is working", etc) And lets not get into this latest failure of the recent hurricane. They are in over their heads. It's pretty obvious to most. They probably spent most of that time trying to get Congress to act on the issues at hand. Biden's said it himself for years, and Congressional Republicans have alternately said that the President cannot order Congress around, and cannot go around congress, while on TV saying Biden should just make executive orders like Trump did, despite Trump's EOs getting overruled by federal judges across the country. There are actual federal and international laws in play, regarding the border and immigration. But go ahead and show us the numbers you think show that Trump was so much more successful than Trump. The recent report from CBP are collected from decades, and not just the result of Biden's term. That's why people call it misleading. Trump's squawking about it doesn't help, either, but he's an idiot and we should ignore what he says. |

Biden had nothing to do with Trump & Pompeo negotiating to free 2500 Taliban fighters. And the withdrawal from Afghanistan was an overall success, in that the US evacuated 120,000 people safely. The suicide bomb attack at Abbey Gate was not something anybody could plan for, and the US deaths caused by it are just a fraction of the lives saved by not keeping a permanent military presence there. Remember that during the Trump Administration, the US lost over 40 soldiers in Afghanistan, and dozens more in other regions, but you don't mention those. Do they not count? |
