U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said this week the Trump administration plans to review and potentially alter the nation's climate science reports.

In a Tuesday appearance on CNN's The Source, Wright told CNN host Kaitlan Collins the National Climate Assessments have been removed from government websites "because we're reviewing them."

"We will come out with updated reports on those and with comments on those," Wright said.

On Tuesday, Trump claimed that he could lower drug prices by 1500%—a mathematically impossible number since it suggests drug companies would be paying the consumer to take the drug. Many critics immediately roasted the president on social media platform X, explaining that Trump’s math was not adding up.

He wrongly claimed that gas was selling Tuesday for below $2 a gallon “in five different states” (it was actually zero states); that prices are “all down” (consumer prices are up under Trump); that Democrats are lying when they say prices are up (these Democrats are correct); that grocery prices “are down” (they are up under Trump); and that core inflation is “below 2%” (it’s 2.9%, per the Consumer Price Index).

The president also claimed that the agreement would bring $600 billion into American coffers by way of investments made by the EU into U.S. companies.

But on Monday, multiple EU officials walked back the massive outlay by noting that it would be made by a variety of private companies over which the bloc has no authority when it comes to corporate spending priorities.
