Washington DC and Los Angeles are nowhere on this list, so why did Trump send the US military to those places instead of Memphis? Because it's all political show.

Of course, Trump is in denial, but everyone can see that the tariffs are hurting the country.

Fed's Powell issues new Trump tariffs warning

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell warned that President Donald Trump's tariffs are pushing consumer prices higher and would continue to do so over the coming months.

Powell gave the warning in his annual Jackson Hole speech on Friday, though markets took the overall message of his address as a signal that the central bank would cut interest rates at the next opportunity in September.

Hegseth fires general whose agency's intel assessment of damage from Iran strikes angered Trump
www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/hegseth-fires-general-whose-agency-s-intel-assessment-of-damage-from-iran-strikes-angered-trump
WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has fired a general whose agency’s initial intelligence assessment of U.S. damage to Iranian nuclear sites angered President Donald Trump, according to two people familiar with the decision and a White House official.

Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse will no longer serve as head of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, according to the people, who spoke Friday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly.

Hegseth also fired Vice Adm. Nancy Lacore, who is chief of the Navy Reserve, as well as Rear Adm. Milton Sands, a Navy SEAL officer who oversees Naval Special Warfare Command, another U.S. official said.

No reasons were given for their firings, the latest in a series of steps targeting military leaders, intelligence officials and other perceived critics of Trump, who has demanded loyalty across the government. The administration also stripped security clearances this week from additional current and former national security officials.

Here we go again: Trump cannot tolerate any dissent, anywhere in the country, that might imply he's not perfect.

"His Brain Is Mush": People Can't Believe Donald Trump's Latest Incoherent Rant On Live Television
www.yahoo.com/news/articles/brain-mush-people-cant-believe-225840047.html
President Donald Trump attacked mail-in voting on Monday with an anecdote about one of his own trips to the ballot box that included a very unlikely detail.

“They asked me for my license plate,” he insisted. “I said, ‘I don’t know if I have it.’ They said, ‘Sir, you have to have it.’ I was very impressed, actually.”

Trump didn’t mention where this happened, but he has cast his most recent ballots in his adopted home state of Florida, which requires voters to present a photo ID, as well as proof of signature if it’s not on the photo ID.

A license plate doesn’t contain a photo or a signature.

“They're consumed far more with this than we are because they're right there. You know we have an ocean that’s separating us, right? A thing called… an ocean. A big, beautiful ocean. And, uh, they don't, they're right there. So it's a different kind of a thing for them.”

Classic Trump.. it’s called the ‘ bob and weave’ .. it keeps the listener listening instead of thinking what he’s gonna say next .nothing wrong with Trumps mind, he’s says what he means and means what he says. Maybe you dems can’t understand someone unless they mumble and stop in mid. Sentence like Biden.

I think you meant "the weave" and not "bob and weave." Bob and weave is a defensive technique in boxing. Trump's "weave" is where he meanders in his speeches before getting back to the point and conclusion. Or, more likely, a thin excuse for his tendency to lose his train of thought as dementia sets in. At this rate, before the end of this term, he'll be able to hide his own Easter eggs.

Donald Trump, 79, Shows 'Classic Signs' of Horror Disease — as Top Expert Warns 'It Will Get Worse'

Harry Segal, a senior psychology lecturer at Cornell University, chimed in with his insights too. He identified Trump's abrupt shifts in conversation as a telling indicator of neurological degradation. Segal stated that Trump showcases a tendency to "digress without thinking – he'll just switch topics without self-regulation, without having a coherent narrative."

Segal spotlighted Trump's tendency to confabulate, where he shapes false memories or alters real recollections, revealing: "It's where he takes an idea or something that's happened and he adds to it things that have not happened."

At least he was able to find Alaska. Unlike Biden. Trump is trying to stop the war which is great for everybody. Biden was at best just a space filler. Not respected by anybody. Putin admitted he invaded Ukraine because Biden was president and very weak. Another example of the democrats constant failure.

You know that Trump didn't fly the plane, nor navigate to Alaska, right? There's a whole presidential staff to handle that, so we don't know that Trump could find Alaska. On a map. With arrows and circles pointing it out. On the other hand, there are clues that Trump doesn't know.

“We’ll see what happens,” Trump told Baier, speaking about a potential deal with Putin, while on board Air Force One en route to the meeting in Anchorage. “If it’s bad, if it’s something I don’t see a future in, I’m gone, I’ll leave,” Trump added. “I’ll go back to the United States.”

Bla bla bla .. no matter how you spin it, it means big revenue for the US. How do you not see that..stock market near all time high. Manufacturing coming back.. Everything’s coming up roses.. as we defund the woke and illogical policies of the Biden catastrophe..

It's tax revenue, and it still doesn't outdo the tax cuts he gave to his billionaire friends, while the tariffs kill the US industrial sector.

It's not stopping at the BLS. Trump is getting his Energy Secretary to revise climate reports.

Energy secretary says Trump administration may alter past National Climate Assessments
www.yahoo.com/news/articles/energy-secretary-says-trump-administration-213814206.html
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said this week the Trump administration plans to review and potentially alter the nation's climate science reports.

In a Tuesday appearance on CNN's The Source, Wright told CNN host Kaitlan Collins the National Climate Assessments have been removed from government websites "because we're reviewing them."

"We will come out with updated reports on those and with comments on those," Wright said.

No surprise. Trump showed he didn't care about government data when he marked up that hurricane map with his Sharpie.

Here’s my feelings on Tarriffs.:thumbsup::thumbsup:!!! To all of you that thought you knew more about tarriffs and how they work..LIL .. wrong again… Trump is using tarriffs to MAGA and to bring back some integrity to the country’s that wanted to go woke.. Trump is the one and only president that saw the need to put his foot down and direct these left leaning countrys to come to their senses with some common sense

Neat, but tariffs are paid, not by the exporting country, but by the importing party, which when it's a merchant, it just gets passed on to the customers. So it's like a new sales tax, even on things that can't be made in the US, like coffee and consumer electronics. And it raises anti-US sentiment internationally. Trump is an imbecile.

J Biden is a Criminal not Yet charged of all his crimes while in office.

If Biden is such a criminal, then why did the Congressional Republicans and Trump's DOJ fail to even come up with charges against him? Instead, he's got Tulsi Gabbard to pretend Barack Obama committed treason (he didn't).

'She's just doing all she can to to distract from the fact that Trump won't release the Epstein docs as previously promised.'

Because Trump was/is being pressured not to release the Epstein files as was the case when Biden was in power. An upset voter base change his mind. Unfortunately, when a Senate Republican tried to have the files released with full transparency, the resolution was blocked by Senate Democrats a while ago.

Not quite the same. Senator Mullin's request for unanimous consent was rejected -- possibly going too far. Grand Jury material is always highly classified, where all parties are prohibited by law of ever discussing the proceedings even years afterward.

And if Republicans wanted "full transparency", then why are they blocking it in every other vote?

Are you sure you live in the US ? Because you post things that are completely false. Investments means revenue in the future because of textile mills coming back to the south. Computer chips in Cali. Three new jet production here in NC alone.. america is on its way back to the most prosperous place in the world thanks to President Trump.. No one actually believes the constant lies coming from your one group..

Do you honestly think that industrial facilities setup this year were caused by Trump? Those things take years to arrange. We're only just starting seeing the fruits of Biden's IRA. Trump, meanwhile, is destroying investor confidence by reneging diplomatic arrangements with our best trading partners. I'll say it again: That "investment" Trump claimed are exaggerated, not legally obligated and much of that was already going to happen, or was negotiated under Biden.
www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/trump-points-51-trillion-investments-middle-east-arent-exactly-real-rcna209811

And a nit-pick: Computer chips mostly don't come from California. I used to work for Intel, and it's a highly automated process, taking a lot of space. California land & power is expensive, so most of that moved to places like New Mexico, decades ago. Even Biden's CHIPS Act is paying for newer fabs in Ohio & Texas. Nobody really makes chips in California, outside the R&D plants.

Trump defends firing labor statistics chief after weak jobs report
thehill.com/homenews/administration/5434438-trump-defends-firing-labor-statistics-chief/
Trump fired the head of Bureau of Labor Statistics because they reported employment numbers he didn't like. He basically shot the messenger. The BLS head doesn't just come up with the numbers on their own. She has a whole department of researchers and economists to come up with the best numbers they can in real time, while most of the data hasn't even come in, yet. But Trump thinks he knows better, and fired Dr. Erika McEntarfer, claiming she deliberately "rigged" the numbers to make him look bad and make Kamala Harris look better.

Meanwhile, Trump is confused at how percentages and prices work.

Trump makes laughable claim about drug prices
www.nj.com/politics/2025/07/trump-makes-laughable-claim-about-drug-pricesand-is-immediately-ridiculed.html
On Tuesday, Trump claimed that he could lower drug prices by 1500%—a mathematically impossible number since it suggests drug companies would be paying the consumer to take the drug. Many critics immediately roasted the president on social media platform X, explaining that Trump’s math was not adding up.

“This is something that nobody else can do. We’re going to get the drug prices down, not 30 or 40%, which would be great, not 50 or 60,” Trump said on Tuesday. “No, we’re going to get them down 1000%, 600%, 500%, 1500%.”

“Numbers that are not even thought to be achievable because I’ve used a certain talent that I have and convinced the drug companies that have no choice,” he added.

Good profile. The main photo shows that you can wear a jacket & tie, and the 2nd does a good job suggesting that you're physically fit. The blurb appears thoughtful and well-written. All the other info filled-in. Overall, no corrections needed. I'd rate it 10/10.

Good luck!

Apparently updated, with interests and basic info filled in. Good job, but choosing not to put any information in the blurb or headline or even the profession probably doesn't do you any favors. Maybe the "Bleh..." is supposed to show that you're too cool to care, but you could have used that space to briefly introduce yourself with what you're like, and what you're looking for, here.

While the photos are clear and well-lit, They're all basically the same shot. Here's a tip: Figure out where the lens is on your camera/phone and look into it when taking the photo. Maybe upload other shots, too, like being out at interesting places, doing what you like to do. The biggest difference in these shots is your age and hair color.

But it's clear from the photos that you're an attractive, young woman, and lots of people don't even seem to read the profiles, anyway, so you'll probably do alright. But for the profile with the blurb and headline that could be so much better, I'd only rate it 6/10.

Good luck!

Hard to make that connection when, yes, the newly heard info has been out there. It was hidden from the investigations.. Just wait the truth is there now, we just have to get the Trump haters to open their mind and accept it.

No, we know the new information is the same as the old information because when DNI Tulsi Gabbard tried to make her case on Fox, and was asked what the new information was, all she could say was "You'll have to read the report." She has nothing new. She's just doing all she can to to distract from the fact that Trump won't release the Epstein docs as previously promised.

Hey--look over there! Squirrel!! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Etc..

My evidence is the prices. Google it. Gas prices in N.C. Meantime Trump is at it again, winning , winning, winning. The art of the deal.. Trump got the EU to invest 600 billion in U.S. and buy 750 billion in energy while still paying 15% tarriffs. Great deal for America. The wins keep coming. Is anybody getting tired of winning yet?

I think I see your problem. You seem to think President Trump isn't lying. Spoiler: He's lying a lot!

Here's an article I found that's only a few days old:
Five false claims Trump made about inflation last night
www.cnn.com/2025/07/23/politics/fact-check-trump-inflation-lies
In a speech Tuesday night to Republican members of Congress, Trump delivered a series of inaccurate assertions on the subject of prices.

He wrongly claimed that gas was selling Tuesday for below $2 a gallon “in five different states” (it was actually zero states); that prices are “all down” (consumer prices are up under Trump); that Democrats are lying when they say prices are up (these Democrats are correct); that grocery prices “are down” (they are up under Trump); and that core inflation is “below 2%” (it’s 2.9%, per the Consumer Price Index).

And trump may have claimed to get the EU to invest $600 billion into the US, but there was obviously BS, as laid out in reports.

EU vowed $600B US economy investment from Trump trade deal. Hours later, European bloc admitted it can’t back that promise
www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/eu-vowed-600b-us-economy-investment-from-trump-trade-deal-hours-later-european-bloc-admitted-it-can-t-back-that-promise/ar-AA1JsfMW?ocid=BingNewsVerp
The president also claimed that the agreement would bring $600 billion into American coffers by way of investments made by the EU into U.S. companies.

But on Monday, multiple EU officials walked back the massive outlay by noting that it would be made by a variety of private companies over which the bloc has no authority when it comes to corporate spending priorities.

Basically the Trump Admin just counted up all the money they expect to be spent in the US that they can find, any time, including decades into the future, and calls that investments in the US from his trade deals, even if that money was already going to be spent, anyway, with or without a deal.
