This is not leadership. During the Biden Administration, when they saw major storms coming, FEMA pre-positioned first responders and the disaster declarations were nearly instant. Now, FEMA is under-staffed, under-funded and much less effective, while Trump drags his feet when asked to help. And these are the "red" states facing most of these crises. I hate to think about how he's going to turn his back on states that didn't mostly vote for him in '24.

Nope. Nobody ever had anything on the Clintons or Biden. That's the fact. The only deep state are the cronies Trump is trying to install now. In order to bring charges, they have to name the laws broken, and present evidence in court. Even the indictment has to show some sort of cause for the indictment. What was there for the Clintons and Biden? NOTHING!!! When will you MAGA followers realize this?

* Trump openly violating the Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution & Republicans in Congress are blocking any investigation or resolutions on the matter.
* During the Biden Administration, Congressional Republicans conducted several investigations into Biden's finances, believing he may have taken some sort of payment, and even spread personal information of Hunter Biden (a private citizen--not in government).
* Trump directing the FCC to investigate the media, and is investigating every major media outlet *except for FOX News.*
* Trump is suing CBS for editing a "60 Minutes" interview, but demanding dismissal of civil lawsuits against himself because it would interfere with his job.

I could go on, but you get the point.

Then why were the Republicans like Congressmen Comer and Jordan covering for Biden and his family? It's clear that they found no criminality because there was no criminality. Republicans have been investigating Biden for decades, since before he was Vice President, and Biden even released decades of his tax returns--which trump has yet to do, despite promises. And nobody has anything on Joe Biden. Same for the Clintons. Probably for the same reason. Maybe take a moment & realize that you've been lied to, regarding a "Biden crime family."

LOL. The article is from early February, back when Elon Musk was still promising $trillions in savings, but not really finding any savings. They've gone on to fire thousands of federal employees and contractors whom they had to hurriedly hire back, so the disruption is an added cost. Meanwhile we have a record increase in aviation incidents after Musk solicited the resignation of thousands of FAA employees.

Consider that just months ago, when Biden was still in office, Republicans were losing their minds over President Biden's brother and son having consulted for and getting paid by foreign corporations. The Trump Library is not the National Archives. And by the time it would transfer out of the USAF, it'll probably be less than a year out of the overhaul the jet would need to serve as a presidential transport. The jet in the Reagan Library (a Boeing 707), was retired after the then-new 747s entered service in 1990. I don't know why you guys keep missing this point. And that's on top of the "gift" 747 coming from a state sponsor of terrorism, and conflicts of interest from Trump himself, and his Attorney General with Qatar.

You've got a couple good photos, and you filled in the biographical questions, but except for offering your IG handle, you left your blurb empty. That's where you can tell people what you're like, and what you're looking for. You also left your headline as the default "Hi.." which is weak.

Maybe take a moment to fill in the text blurb. Also, if you create a unique headline (replace the "Hi..") you'll stand out in searches.

I suspect that lots of women don't even read the profile before they "Like" you, and if they're looking for a guy nearby, it might not matter, but leaving stuff blank makes you look lazy or possibly fake, so it's not helping. I didn't miss the point. And gifts don't go on display at the National Archives. They go into storage. When every prior president was gifted anything, that went into storage in the National Archives (not display).

And yes, every president is given gifts from other countries. It's what they do. And nobody's complaining about the gifts that Trump gets that just go to the National Archives. The problem here is that Trump wants to accept the gift and use it as Air Force One--then keep it for his library foundation. And he says that we're being stupid for pointing to the Emoluments Clause. Trump really is an imbecile.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for ICE agents who can't bother to get a signed warrant before barging into courthouses to arrest people. It's called "due process" and is the core aspect of our government that keeps us from tyranny.

Sure, American Presidents have received foreign gifts before. And those gifts go to the National Archives, and presidents don't get to keep them.

When the Statue of Liberty was gifted to the United states, Congress passed a bill directing President Cleveland to accept it. Congress still hasn't passed any bills asking Trump to accept any gifts, much less that plane from the Qataris.

I agree that Boeing has taken too long to finish the work, and it was originally supposed to be finished by now, but Trump's the one who renegotiated that contract. And here we are.

But you're right, in that foreign governments give gifts to the US president. But those usually just go to the National Archives. And besides, the the Qataris' "gift" is supposed to to to the USAF, then get converted (taking a couple years) and then "just before" Trump leaves office, it gets "transferred" to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation. So it's a loan, then a gift? Either way, it's a mess, and another example of Trump's corruption.

Until Congress votes to let Trump accept a gift from the Qataris, accepting the airplane is plainly unconstitutional (along with all the money he takes in from his resorts and golf courses). And even though Republicans hold majorities in the House & Senate, they obviously don't have the votes to let Trump accept that white elephant of an aircraft.
