Help from Forums can be good, or useless.
I'd trust more the people who live in location, than people who think-how-things-are.

There are forums more dedicated to Travel than this one, Lonely Planets Thorn tree for example.

If this is your once in a lifetime, go for it. Don't let forums, friends or family stop you.
And of course, bad trip (like diarrhea all the way) is always better than never leaving at all

CRAZY rumours about me from everywhere!!
All of those were about me dating other women (names specified), so I was really lost about the reasons she would've done that..
Maybe it was because she was CRAZY!

Sounds cold, but a break-up text message and never to answer her calls or messages cleared it up. Also I think it helped that she moved to another city to study..

Where do these people come from? What are their motives?

Long story short, I knew a nice woman from spain, nice to chat with about random stuff.
Chatting with men calling from London asking her on the phone on the other hand, was not.
She won't explain why did she ever decide to share my phone number with random people, and is all "so, what are you gonna do about it?".

I don't know what I'd do about it. If this doesn't stop soon, I'll have to change my phone number =(
I have never been this worried about my privacy as I am right now. She has my email address too..

But all I can ask is, why do people do this stuff?

20A fuse for 50 watts is well over its needs. 12 volts running 20A current can generate 240 watts. Here you should remember that thin wires passing 20A can be too much and they start to heat up and eventually melt (but that's only when that 50W amp of yours shortcuts to ground).
For 50 watts (and 12 volts) 7,5A or 10A fuse would be something I'd install at work, to be sure that the fuse will burn before anything else after it if some failure takes place.

But why doesn't the amp work?
Does you headunit control the amp properly?
Are line-out wires from HU to amp connected well?
If both are ok, I'd measure the resistance between "remote" and ground, if it's infinite (in other words not connected in any way) I'd ask my friend why he gave it for free =)

I'm not really familiar on boat tours or canoeing, but I can dig up some information (as most sources on internet are in finnish) for you.
Any thoughts of going east, north or center districts?
