Just ask them out, plain and simple. We arn't mind readers, so you will never know if they want to, unless you ask. Why would that scare them off? I have been used by the last two fellers (2006 who used me like a rag dog and after my divorce (2007: he just told me that he wanted 2 start a family with me and talked 2 me about it and I agreeed 2 it) I don't think they wanted serious relationship.

I have been on a date once b4 after my divorced and didn't work out so well. but I would like to have some tips from y'all or advices how or what would be the best when asking some one out without scare them off
