The Biggest Joke Of All

Yesterday I posted a message, “Who do you think you are”, all in fun expecting to receive some funny replies. And some replies were funny, but the most were from those condemning me for having the nerve to say something against the physical ability of those over fifty. What I wrote must have really hit home with them. There was even one, from western Pennsylvania that wrote me a letter and claimed she was a mountain climber and loved long walks on the beach. I wonder what beach she takes those long walks on in western Pennsylvania. I guess the point is, if we can’t joke about our age then maybe we do need to find a rocking chair and just give up. The fact is, I am sure that those who posted those hostile replies and claimed all the physical activities that they can do, could not keep up with me for more than an hour, in my daily routine, before they would be looking for a place to rest. That includes you too mountain climber. This whole thing was meant as a joke, but that crowd really out did me, they are the biggest joke of all.
