Aside from focusing on their appearance, also write about some other things from reading their profiles. I think a lot of guys on there don't really take time to read about what others write about themselves. For instance, I wrote on my page : "I don't really do nudges online, so just write me", but I still get tons of those everyday..

If you write something that shows them you actually take time to read their profile, and that youre interested in them not ONLY because of their look, I think you will get response without a problem.

I think that expecting returns from the art you are doing is a wrong attitude.
I used to think that way, things I am good at like songwriting or making photos..
then I constantly had conflicts with what I think is art and what others want to see/hear.
a lot of times it has more to do with connections and compromising really.
if you want to make "art" that everyone wants,
then you are more like a businessman instead of a real artist.
thats why lots of famous musicians/bands still have their side projects going on besides their major records i think.

20s, just for flappers!

I traveled to a unfamiliar country, I guess its Czech Republic,
some killers from the movie "Leon" suddenly appeared outta nowhere to chase after me.
My backpack was so heavy with cameras and lens and laptop.
I wanted to flee to Holland, where I used to study, to those familiar cities.
But the train just left the platform.
So I kept running, till I reached the end of a tiny alley.
A wide canal in front of me.
There was nothing but a tiny rope across the canal,
and a little old woman was slowly walking on it.
I followed her across the canal to her door.
She just smiled and let me in.
The house was decorated with strange rocks and stalactite of all colors.
Dogs are running around,
and a fat purple cat as big as a couch got moon-like eyes.
Young people from all culture sat on the floor and passed on marijuana pipe.
Someone passed me a guitar, it looked exactly like my first guitar.
everytime I tried to tone it, the guitar returned to its previous chaotic notes secs later.
so I began to help the old woman to sort out her mails.
Piles of postcards from all over the world sent by all the young people who has once been sheltered by this place....

that's all I remember, strange dream.
