Seems pretty chauvanistic, but that's how men are.

You seem really sweet. Would you ever consider dating a woman?

How fitting that something crazy like this would happen in a gun-crazy conservative state like Texas.

Are there any fans of misandry and the idea of female supremacy around here?

I vaguely remember it. Kind of corny, but still a decent movie.

I was told that it's sort of like the idea of little red riding hood versus the big bad wolf. I think that Ellen Page's character was more of a symbol of justice than anything else. She may have not been the perfect super-heroine, but I think she would be pretty high on the list.

You just mimicked what I said. Oh how original!!! They must hand out master's degrees to anyone nowadays.

Has anyone ever seen the movie Hard Candy? It's basically the story of a young girl who turns the tables on a would-be stalker. Without going into any great detail, she basically ends up drugging him, tying him to his own kitchen table and does an "operation" on him while he's awake. LOL. Not to sound like a totally militant feminist, but this is one of the most empowering movies ever. Hopefully, this movie will be a lesson to men who are thinking of doing something illegal. This movie shows that the tables can sometimes be turned, so to speak. I give it a 9 out of 10, just because the script is a little unrealistic.

This is just an observation, but it's interesting to me how so many of the people against gun control tend to be white male republicans.

I don't think that the founding fathers had bazookas and machine guns in mind when they wrote the constitution. It's kind of silly to assume they did. No offense, I don't want to sound like a total jerk here, but I do have strong feelings on most political issues.

Racism may just be the tip of the ice burg here. I think that a lot of men find power in a loaded gun and they use that power to exert their will over others... especially women and minorities. If things like machine guns were banned, I think that the world would continue to turn and life would go on just fine without them. But don't tell that to a right winger or an NRA member.

I'm new too. Sorry, I can't help you. I'm still trying to figure this out myself.
