I am feeling embarrassed. One of the younger women on this site mistook my playfulness with her as being a sign that I was chasing her. That wasn't my intention. Got to be careful. It is a dating site. Did you let her know. Communication is important in ANY relationship, including friendship and business. I feel too embarrassed and ashamed to tell her directly. So, I have asked another Mingle2 member to contact her. To make matters worse, I found out about my mistake when it was revealed in the thread "Support Group for Christian Singles", a thread that I started. I just want to cry. (((Dodo)))

It's difficult when you're dealing strictly in text communication. You can't see facial express. Hear voice inflection. People tend to interpret the words as they WANT to hear them rather than as they were intended. Just explain gently. No one could ever believe that you'd ever done anything intentionally cruel or misleading.
