Here's what I love about Oklahoma:

I was thoroughly cleaning out my pantries one day, blinds, etc...ya know, Spring cleaning...anyways, my three year old daughter got away from me! About an hour later I am looking for her in her room where I had left her and she was nowhere to be found! I am panicking right about now calling everyone, running around yelling outside, etc...when all of the sudden, here comes a teenager from across the road, thankfully he was home from school on lunch, anyways he said she had came over naked, with just a pair of panties on? So he put a shirt on her, and gave her an OSU basketball [he had to get this pun in too because he knew we were big OU fans and he will be playing for OSU this fall], and a toy crown. I was so thankful...immediately called one of my best gf's and told her, she assured me that this happens to everyone. The next day she called me in tears, I asked what was wrong and she proceeded to tell me how thankful we should be to live in this state, because we do always gripe about it, but she was driving to work and had to pull over to cry for a second thinking about what could possibly happen to our children if we lived in a larger city and they ran off.

Sorry to ramble, and I know there are crazies everywhere, but this is a pretty decent state...We have good people, and contrary to people's beliefs...we're not all redneck, hillbilly, or incest. If people would do their freakin' research, they will learn that actually, the vast majority of us are NATIVE AMERICAN.

This is one of the many reasons I LOVE Oklahoma! I guess you would have to move off to appreciate it. BOOMER SOONER!
