I’m only stating this from my OWN observation.
If a man wasn’t taught as a child to respect others, look people in the eyes when speaking to them and reply yes Sir, yes Ma’am they probably won’t carry that same respect throughout their lives. If a man grew up without God and prayer he probably doesn’t have respect for others.
Many of the old school beliefs that “ Men don’t cry” or “Men don’t show emotions “ have been passed down through the ages. It takes a brave and unique man to break out of that mold and challenge themselves and their fathers to the fact that REAL MEN DO CRY and have valid emotions outside of the stereotypical uncontrollable ANGER.
It takes effort and awareness. It can be accomplished and we men are better for ourselves and the one’s we love once we have.
Guy’s like girls need to give themselves time between relationships to understand and learn from the mistakes we have made. There truly is no other way to grow and be comfortable with one’s self. It makes us better people and better for the next relationship.
There are nice and respectful men out there.
Just remember, it’s a two way street.
