I cant believe that you just implied that mental illness is caused by too much love and compassion for your son. Thats just offensive. Thats like telling a psyzophrenic they hear voices because their dad cared about them too much.

And the rest of it.. So archaic. Love compassion and discipline must be given the same for each child regardless of whats between there legs. If you raise your children to view male and female as equals they will have more respect for the opposite sex/gender.

Children need love compassion patience and tolerance. Especially if they have special needs.

(Im not trying to start anything but as a parent of two special needs children, i felt it neccessary)
