ZOE? She's my pit bull and somewhat boxer Isn't she pretty? If you
can keep up with her, you got her. I have to repair my backyard fence
every day to keep her from escaping

LA, that is absolutely wonderful as long as you and Terry are both
certain that this is what you want. I've been through a few
relationships; I just don't want to see you making such a big move and
end up hurt.

Terry, keep her safe, ok?

LA, I'm really curious . . . are you and Terry engaged?

I am a young 52 and thankfully, don't have any granchildren as of yet.
I will welcome them when the time is right. My son has experienced a
lot of pain and suffering in his teen years when his dad and I separated
and then his dad died of pancreatic cancer. He is now engaged to the
beautiful Alison and they both have great jobs. I do believe because of
what he has witnessed of the bonds of marriage, he is very apprehensive.

Any suggestions?

So, how many of us here have grandbabies?

My question is . . . if that's your grandbaby, were you married when you
were 12? Dang, you are MUCH too young . . . or at least look much to
young.

I'm sorry that you feel alone; so do I.

Glenn, these ladies have given you a lot of good advice. I know time is
running short . . . I'm 10+ years your senior and single. Don't rush
it, there is plenty of time. If you look at it as time running out, you
(and she) may settle for the wrong person just to not be alone. I was
married for 24 years and know that if I marry again, it will be the
right person. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying my single life.

Your children are so precious; give them a lot of love and attention.
They are also a great avenue to meeting down to earth women.

Good luck to you

I suffer from depression and anxiety. Without meds, I can barely
function and will suffer horrible panic attacks. The medication simply
takes me back to normal - no high - just normal.

My son, too, suffered from depression while his dad was dying from
cancer. Without the meds, he probably would have been in the psych
ward.

Unless you have ever suffered from SAD, anxiety, etc., you really cannot
understand it.

I have dated men that I have met online. I am always very careful in
screening them upfront and won't agree to meet unless I fell VERY
comfortable after emails and phone calls. I always met them for the
first few times in public. Many ended up as a single date, but I met a
man just 2 months ago and I think this relationship will go the
distance.

Online dating or meeting simply gives us the opportunity to meet someone
that we would never have met otherwise. Just be careful; there ARE good
people out there. Right guys????
