Sounds nice. I know I really liked watching the fall color change when I had visited before when I was like 7. Might have to go back and visit again since it's been so long.

Eric, I have been looking at campgrounds in the area also. Just haven't found the right atmosphere that we want.

Yeah, we don't want to do the big extravaganza. Small intimate ceremony with family members only. Just we would like to do it by a lake or large pond that doesn't have a crap ton of algae or just crappy/muddy looking water.

I admit, I'm the one being kinda picky about this wedding stuff. It's my first and only time I'm going to marry. So I'm taking my time in this whole planning. But also trying to be very aware of my budget.

rofl when I started on Mingle, I was using a desktop. Then got my Android tablet and used the mobile site of Mingle.
Now I just use my Android phone as sometimes I'm at work, when I get to check in.

I know, I know. frustrated rofl

I do appreciate the ideas.

I understand the country thought ideas. I grew up on a farm, just I never got into farming.

Unfortunately our little bit of a yard that we have isn't big enough. We rent a Condominium for the time being.

I'll just say priorities. If dating is a priority, you will find the time.

drinker still looking for locations.
Trying to figure this out with our different work schedules. Seems like when I have a day off, she has to work and vice versa.
Least we're not on time crunch since we haven't set a date for certain. waving

waving Hi Dee! Hope to hear that your hubby made it home.

Things are slowly going for planning. We did have a date in mind of June 13, 2020, but because we're having problems finding a location we want to use for the ceremony. We may hold off a year and go June of 2021. Then again, we might just do a courthouse wedding and no reception. Who knows? We don't yet....lol!

rofl photographer.....sorry, that just cracked me up. On my budget, I thought I'd be doing good if I got someone to shoot a few photos that weren't on digital....laugh

We have looked at the state parks in our area. At least within an hour's drive. I don't want to get further than that, because I don't want to make all the guests have to drive so far.
Unfortunately though, we haven't found a state park or other park that has a lake with a nice view for our back drop. We both want to get married by water.

Although, she has said, "We're not using the Maumee River as our backdrop. To hell, with that $#it brown river."

Sooooo, the state park that is just down the road from us is out....laugh
