Just to be clear, the purpose of my post is to spur discussion on a topic I have not seen covered on threads that I have browsed. This discussion is not meant as an indictment nor a judgment of those who list shopping as a hobby. And it is surely not a discussion born out of fear of not trusting someone. if we look at the definition of Hobby: "an activity done regularly in ones leisure time for pleasure" Personally shopping does not fit that description for ME. ..In my opinion shopping is a TASK Do I like to buy things..YES..do I consider the process of finding the right item a hobby.. Absolutely not. I hope this clarifies my intention of creating this post.

I tend to look at activities in a users profile and I notice the term shopping listed on a lot of profiles. I guess my question is if someone is spending their spare time "shopping" is that a red flag that could lead to constant arguments over finances and possibly bankruptcy? or is "Shopping" as a activity as opposed to a necessity the norm? Your thoughts?
