Guess not! I just think it would be nice getting together for fun, volunteering, walking, etc. In my other two posts I had said over 60, but I have found that even people in their late 50's or younger can like the same things that us over 60's do. I'm volunteering for the Indy 500 festivities. Anyone else here doing that?
Getting together is a great way to meet others, whether it's volunteering or just to socialize.

We have a heat wave today, here in Indy at 32 degrees. After the sub zero temperatures of last week. Very bright sunshine. It was a real pleasure out walking this morning!

It's -6 degrees here in Indy. Supposed to get to 20 below wind chill tonight. It's really, really, really cold!!!

As for the airfare, that would never come up because I meet men only from my area or near by.

A first meeting for me usually does not involve anyone needing to pay. I prefer to meet just to talk for a few minutes to size each other up, see if there is an attraction or any desire for a second meeting, which would be the first date.

I know there are those who get depressed around the holidays. I never do. On New Years Eve I just kind of look back over the past year, all of the good things that have happened in my life, in the lives of my family, the fact that we're still here on this earth. I see each New Year as an opportunity to make something good happen, to experience new things. At 10:00 PM, with or without company, I watch one of the New Year's Eve shows on TV, watch the ball drop. I look forward to each new year. But that's just me.
I just have a knack for choosing joy, whenever possible, over sadness.

Indy here! I would enjoy communicating with and possibly meeting others from this area over 55? I said before over 60, but maybe no one here over 60!!Maybe only young folks here.

I feel great at 68! Depends on what you mean by "mellow". I feel that I've gotten better with age, like a fine wine. I'm certainly wiser, in great health, and still going strong.
Problem is, finding a man who can keep up!

I'm looking for men and women over 60 who are just looking for new friends in or near the Indy area.
I don't go out a lot during winter, but I do like outdoor concerts, festivals, state fair, parades, museums and casinos,etc., when the weather is nice. Would be nice to meet others who like the same things.
