 Have you ever been in a relationship with a pessimist or a very negative person?
 What did you do?
 Any ideas on how to change their perspective?
I have a friend who's very negative. (clinical depression) I've had to distance myself from her. Until she makes the effort to help herself, there's not much I can do besides get worn out trying to cheer her up.

What would it be? And why? How do you think it would affect you in the long run?  There's lots that need changing. I'm a work in progress. What I'm currently working on is a healthier lifestyle, more greens on the plate and learning how to bellydance.

I'd probably spend it calling up all my relatives and friends to tell them what they mean to me. |

It was fun at first, a litlle flattering at times, but now what? how about you guys/gals? did the luster of this site dim quickly or is it still shining bright? I was really excited when I first joined. I thought I'd have numerous date offers and guys contacting me. Then reality set in. It really is a numbers game and a test of your patience. I send out "hello"s now and then, and in the meantime, search & post on the forums. I'm having a lot of fun making friends here so...yeah, the site's still shiny for me.

bravery.. the mother who looks around her house and sees the stack of bills, the small amount of food, and the lack of hope that she is left with after her husband has walked out.. puts on a smile and turns to her kids and eases their fears.. while putting aside her own. the solder who goes into battle with the knowledge that he may never make it home, but also the knowledge that he is fighting a much larger battle.. the cancer patient who has been given a terminal diagnosis, and volunteers at the homeless shelter... the woman who after years of brain washing and abuse.. FINALY manages to gain the courage to walk away.. and never go back.. the rape victom who stands up in court to say put the man who violated her behind bars.. bravery is so many things.. but essentialy it is.. putting aside your own fears.. to ease the fears of others.. and to do what is right..

while we are on the subject of tat's in here I have a quick question. I have wanted to get one done for while but I have heard they really hurt on the bone for example on the ankle area is that true. sorry not trying to hijack your thread. The one I got on my ankle really hurt. But then I'm kind of a wuss, too.
