The Arabian Peninsula the birthplace of Islam is one of the hottest and
driest regions in the world, consisting mainly of deserts. Since ancient
times tribes of the nomadic race had populated the region. Considered
the descendents of Noah’s third son Shem they are called Semites. Over
the centuries theses Semitic people have migrated into the Fertile
Crescent and were assimilated to into existing civilizations.

In the sixth century AD, north of the Arabian Peninsula two great powers
were locked in a seesaw power struggle. The Christian Byzantine kingdom,
successors of the Roman Empire was to the Northwest and controlled the
Mediterranean Sea, North Africa and the lands of Palestine. In the
northeast lay the Zoroastrian Persian kingdom. Both the Byzantine and
Persian kingdoms had client Arab tribes allied to their cause of trade
and conquest.

The Arabian Peninsula became a land of refuge for those seeking escape
from both of these empires. Heretic Christian sects like the Nestorians,
and Jewish tribes escaping the oppressive Byzantines found refuge in the
protective deserts and cities of the Peninsula.

What is true love to you? Is it waking up in the morning and seeing that
person next to you? Is it being able to call whenever and you know that
the sweet voice of the other will soothe and calm your day if it's going
horribly? You know they say that when you really love someone you can
see your unborn children in that persons eyes.....? Is that true love to
you? When you are so excited to see that person that you can't wait till
your day is over so that you can rest you head on their shoulders and
you feel like nothing can touch you, and anything that went wrong that
day just disappears, you just forget about it. The one person that has
your back regardless and that whatever arises you will never face it
alone. The one you can love no matter how much you hate them. Is it true
love when you confess your deepest darkest secret that you wouldn't tell
the pope? Is the person you truly love your true love? What's the
difference between being in love and just loving the person? Does your
true love fog up your mind? Does that person bring out the best instead
of the worst? Would you change your life and drop everything for them?
Forget about your plans and start fresh? TRUST WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART AND
NEVER THINK TWICE? Is true love when you live on a daily basis with this
person or think 80 years down the line and your "true love" is still in
the picture? Is true love when you'd take all the pain that person is
suffering and make it your own without a second thought, when you risk
your life to just hang out with that person one more day. If you were
dying tomorrow you know that person would go to no ends to see you, do
you consider that true love
