Dude has some pretty solid solo sh&t. I just listened to "Chemical Wedding", and "Accident of Birth". It's basically like a side project/Maiden half-breed. Bruce on vocals and Adrian on guitars. Think "Iron Maiden", without the epic solos.

Had quite the ordeal trying to purchase a blu ray player. The first one I grabbed was a Sony for about $88 at Walmart. Took it home, hooked it up, and realized it didn't have a built in wi-fi for the streaming, so I had to return it for one that did. Found a Toshiba for the same price. Had the built in wi-fi & everything. Took it home, hooked it up, and all I got was a blank screen. So I had to return THAT one & decided to go with a Magnavox for $84.

It works great so far. The upconverter seems to work pretty good. It's fast and easy to operate. And it has the built in wi-fi for Netflix, Youtube, Vudu, etc...

In retrospect I should have just REALLY splurged and gotten a PS3. Oh well. I can just upgrade when the new playstation comes out & the price drops.

Saw it in IMAX 3D. Didn't hear a peep from anyone through the entire film. I thought it was alright. I didn't really like the "Thor" film & it had a lot of ties in to that so...yeah. Other than that is was pretty fun. Cool fx, awesome sound, good humor, good music. And they finally got "The Hulk" right with this film.

Right on. Yeah, I'll probably just spring for the Blu-Ray. I might wanna stream some stuff. I forgot most of them have that feature. & 3D. And it really depends on the film itself, how sharp I want the picture. Some of them look better grainy.

"Hoarding". Another so called "condition" that's been blown way out of proportion by the media.

I think it's some kind of security issue thing. I mean, I understand if you have a lot of collectable stuff worth some money, but you gotta weed out the useless crap.

Try surprising them, get them out of the house, and take a day to clean the place. They might freak out at first, but they'll thank you for it later.

I just bought a new LCD HDTV 720 with a 60h refresh rate. Right now I'm using a standard Sony DVD player in 480. I can't really afford a Blu-Ray player right now, but I want to be able to watch my DVDs in high definition. I know Blu-Ray players can upconvert standard DVDs...so should I just wait for the price to drop on the Blu-Ray players? Or just go with the cheap DVD upconverter?

Haha. We're all ears (or eyes in this case). School us in some metal.

Netflix used to be awesome. They've just gone downhill in my opinion. I've been thinking about investing in a streaming player & checking out some other services. And continue to use Redbox for new releases.
