Hey

You need to man up and finally tell the truth to those that need to hear it. I'm tired of getting angry phone calls and death threats because you just wont tell the truth and get it over with. Oh, and I want you to get your effing divorce already, so I don't have to put up with your ex any more either. We've been together over a year, pony up the cash and lawyer up, or I am out by March.

The end

I'm having a hard time forgiving my dad...

He's an in-denial alcoholic, who drank away and smoked weed away my parents' house, thousands of my dollars and my education money.

He lives on his own now in an apartment with his pension, while my mom is staying with my brother, has since august since she took off from my dad, but cant get anything so far as welfare, social assistance or disability for her debilitating arthritis.

Mom never had a career, she was a career stay at home mom for us four kids, and though she does have college, she can't work because of her arthritis.

I feel very angry all the time at my dad, especially since he calls us all the time, alternately crying about how he's lost everything, and then being verbally abusive saying we abandoned him and are poisoned against him because of my mother.

Then on the other hand I feel sorry for him, he lost his mother 2 years ago sunday, his friend shortly after, and never has been able to express his feelings in any way other than anger and sullenness...

My dad calls me to complain about my mom, and my mom calls me to complain about my dad, they both call me to complain about how ****ty their life is. I don't tell either of them my issues or anything anymore, they figure out and twist my words to make it sound like I am either lording my "life" over theirs and looking down on them, or find ways to say i have nothing to complain about, look at my life etc etc

Im so stressed out about them, and their constant phone calls, nothing i say to them changes their outlook on anything, and its really wearing me down. Im not as upbeat as before, and my relationship is suffering, as well as my patience with the idiots I work with.

One night a few weeks ago, my dad called me stoned out of his mind, and drunk to boot, saying how i wasn't his daughter any more, i told him i wouldnt be talking to him as long as he was still drinking, because i dont need that in my life. He really hurt my feelings with things he said. Now i dont answer if he calls, and im ready to give up listening to sarcastic and mean spirited voicemail messages he leaves, im tired of hoping for an apology or an i love you...

Im not even sure Im posting this in the right forum, but i guess i just felt the need to get this off my chest. I want my "life" back, and Im getting exhausted trying to be everyones' cheerleader, and hoping for some support in return from my family.

Am I being irrational? Should I be able to handle all this better? How can I verbalise what i need to my partner, so I can allow him to comfort me?

Tofu "casserole"

2 Tbsp Olive Oil
20 Oz firm tofu, cut into 1/2" slices
1 cup onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cups plum tomatoes, chopped, with juices
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp rosemary
4 oz mozzerella cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350
Heat 1 tbsp of the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
Add tofu and saute until it is light brown (about 1 to 2 minutes per side)
Remove from heat and drain on paper towels
Heat remaining olive oil in a saucepan and saute onion and garlic, stirring for 2 minutes
Add tomatoes and seasonings
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes
Lay tofu in a baking dish
Spoon sauce over the tofu and sprinkle cheese evenly over top
Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown

Serves 4

Again this is a very low-fat heart healthy meal that I personally LOVE to make. Suitable for any diet plan and salt and sodium-reduced diets. Very figure friendly and best of all...Vegetarians will definitely enjoy this meal too!

I dislike mens profiles who complain about their ex's.

Or call potential dates "ho's"

OR the ones who-- talk in really long sentences that get angrier and angrier because they suddenly find themselves getting pissed off at the ex or some other person who did them wrong and they got to get it out right NOW with lots of CAPITALISED words to emphasise their point about why they are a nice guy who got done wrong and everyone should know that and they shouldnt have to be on a dating site misspelling half their words as they get more and more pissed at the girls and hos who dont answer their e mails that only say hi and they never get a chance and it isnt fair--and of course end with know what i mean?

Not only far fetched, but impossible

If you are inpregnated by an embryo of your brothers' and sister in laws', not only are you likely NOT in that stage of ovulation, but there are not "spare" sperms in there to fertilise the egg that may or may not be there.

indifferent

I don't like it when people try so hard to be something they are not, but they think is what they are supposed to be.

If you are shy, its ok. If you are really skinny or really fat, thats ok too.

You want people to be interested in who you are, not force them to pick you apart one e mail at a time, why would anyone bother?

If getting to know you would be like trying to decipher 3000 year old unheard languages written in the sand, I think they are going to be understandably reticent, and give you a "pass" and go to the girl/guy who is open, friendly and appears honest and comfortable portraying themselves in a dignified manner.
