Are you seriously saying that they should be judged on the history of their ancestors thousands of years ago? We usually make the argument that slavery in the US was "centuries ago" and the British Empire was a "different era". Some very silly arguments on here.

What's not being discussed here is that the Israeli government is run by far right men who have tried to overturn democracy. The Palestinians live in a strip of land that is controlled by Israel in every way. They have turned the water and electricity off for gods sake. I'm not saying Hamas is the best advocate for the Palestinian people, but Israel has a lot to answer for.
