Having signed up here recently looking for friends/activity partners, I did not see an option to choose both genders under "looking for", it's either m or f. Is that option intentionally not given by this site or did I miss it? Thanks in advance for your assistance, S.

The first date should be a venue or activity everybody enjoys. As honesty is a basic ingredient of any interaction, speak up. If you're not at all into that game say so, if it's that you're just not comfy with it for the first date say honestly that for a first date you'd prefer .....xyz..... followed by asking "what do you think"?
