Much the same as Winx and bgeorge said... my children won't meet a man until or if the relationship is serious. My children know I date but I refuse to have a series of "uncles" (for lack of a better word) in their lives.

There's a difference between proper grammar used for english composition and the grammar/slang/regional dialect used in conversation. If I were grading an english paper, I would make corrections. Since I consider online forums to be a dialogue, I'd just try to interpret what the speaker/typer was saying... or just ignore it if I'm too tired to decipher.
