What causes me to immediately swipe left?

1) Empty profile or profile with only a photo
If you're not sufficiently interested to tell
others anything about yourself, why should we
bother with you? Would you buy a car where
your only information is a photo? Or
if you have no information at all? A companion
is a lot more important than a car and,
thus, one needs more information to make even a
preliminary decision.

2) Your profile contains a condition that
eliminates me (e.g., you live in Podunk, MO,
and want only local dates).

3) Departing from the truth. Example: a person
claiming to be 60 years old but shows a
picture of a person in their twenties.

4) Your profile contains something that goes
against my personal prejudices (e.g., your
age is less than a third of my age).

The first thing I would suggest is to add a photo of yourself. The second thing I would suggest is to add as much information as possible to your profile. After all, the job of the profile is to sell you to the members of this site.
